Derek & Jenni + 1.5!

Our dear friends, Derek and Jenni, recently welcomed their second son into the world. I am already completely smitten with this little man and can't wait to share some images we captured in his first week. These, however, are from the maternity shoot we did in the weeks prior to his birth! We just love this family and are so grateful to God for them. Life wouldn't be the same without y'all!

Abbie + Shawn

Abbie and Shawn are such a sweet couple and just recently welcomed their first child, Simon! He was born three weeks early, about four days after we took these images... We were all relieved that we had gotten them done earlier in the week! He is super precious and I can't wait to share a preview of his newborn shoot - but here are a few of his parents just before he arrived.

Leslie & Craig

Craig and Leslie have been good friends of ours for a couple of years now - can't believe it's been that long! They moved to Columbus and came to our church not too long after we did, and we've enjoyed being in a small group together for a while now.

They are expecting their first baby - a boy - in just a few short weeks, and I was honored to get to do some maternity photos for them! Les has been quite crafty in preparing their nursery and had some great stuff that she had created with Baby Boy's name - but I've been sworn to secrecy! :) So here are a few shots with just the belly!

Carrie & Ryan

When Carrie and Ryan announced they were pregnant just a few months after we did, we were so excited... not only to have good friends to walk alongside as we all learned how to be parents, but because Carrie is an awesome photographer! I knew we'd be able to trade off doing photos of our families - which is great fun and a money-saver! :)

Here are a few shots from the maternity session we did way back when... Can't believe the babies are already so old!
